THE OPPORTUNITY
The Project Coordinator (PC) will assist the Director of Project Management from the moment the job is assigned. During that time, the PC is to assertively and consistently hold a number of internal and external resources and activities to a timeline, give feedback, and interact with all internal and external customers on a regular basis.
The Project Coordinator (PC) will assist in managing the project to a successful outcome in terms of meeting deadlines, keeping costs within budget, getting paid for “out of scope” work and ensuring the products and services are acceptable to the customer. The PC may be required to supervise Assistant Project Coordinators (APCs) as directed by Director of Project Management (DPM).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work under National Director of Project Management, execute project work plans, assist in revisions of plan as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Provide and implement project plan
- Provide project and site safety plan
- Manage day to day aspects of a project and scope
- Coordination of trades
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings
- Effectively apply SignArt methodology and enforces project quality and safety standards
- Minimize our exposure and risk on projects
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately; organization skills
- Any other work assigned
- Provides timely feedback to all stakeholders
- Implements delegation of tasks and follows up as needed
- Permit and Zoning acquisition
- Zoning Board of appeals application and presentations
- Assume responsibility for meeting or exceeding budget expectations on assigned projects as well as projects for the Assistant Project Coordinators who report to him/her
- Prepare work orders per check list for invoicing

- Associate degree or equivalent amount of education and experience in project management.
- 3-5 years’ experience within a similar setting.
- Demonstrated project management skills at a high level in other organizations.
- Ability to organize and pursue complex work, with great attention to detail in a timely and effective manner
- Displays diplomacy and discretion.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize them effectively, while working independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and willingness to work as needed to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills exercised with sound judgment and ability to anticipate emergent issues and needs
- Advise appropriately

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This is a full-time position based in Kalamazoo, MI. SignArt offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision plans, company paid life insurance; Paid holidays and vacation time; and 401k with 50% company match up to 6% of employee contribution. Bonuses are based on productivity, performance, management’s perception of attitude, cooperation, and are paid once or twice a year.
Salary will be determined by the amount of characteristics demonstrated within the dynamics of the interview.
