When a new retaining wall blocked motorists on I-94 from seeing Kalamazoo First Assembly, the church wanted a sign to announce its presence to passing cars. SignArt created a sign clearly visible from the highway — winning a variance from the City of Portage Zoning Board of Appeals — and also re-designed the church’s entryway presence. Constructing a new sign and planter, SignArt took the lead as the general contractor designing a project to match the masonry of the church. The new sign, electronic messaging center, landscaping, fence and brick work re-introduced Kalamazoo First Assembly to the community.
